Four months after his death, Michael Jackson’s This Is It premiered at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.
The movie chronicles the months March through June 2009 featuring behind-the-scenes footage and Jackson rehearsing a number of his songs for the shows that would have taken place this summer in London
Among the celebrities attending the premiere were Michael’s brothers Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Randy. Also Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Will Smith and Ashley Tisdale, plus the movie’s director Kenny Ortega.
